For the "A cell phone for the gorilla" campaign, the telecommunications distributor einsAmobile called on its employees to donate their old cell phones. The collected cell phones were then handed over to the Frankfurt Zoological Society (ZGF) on June 12, which will now take them to a certified recycling partner. In return, the ZGF will receive a sum of money, 100% of which will go towards its project work. Recycling also reduces the use of primary raw materials and conserves natural resources. The distributor has supplemented this with a €250 donation to the ZGF.
"We would like to express our sincere thanks for the donation in kind and in cash, which contributes to the conservation of resources through recycling on the one hand and flows directly into important nature and species conservation projects on the other," says Michael Kauer, Project Manager Nature Conservation Ambassador at Frankfurt Zoological Society.
